Welcome to the official website of the Beta Upsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is committed to providing service to all mankind.

Under the direction of our International President, Soror Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, we will be concentrating on educational enrichment, health promotion, family strengthening, environmental ownership, global impact and specialized community impact days. Some of the initiatives we will accomplish include partnering with the National Association of Colored People (NAACP) to foster voter awareness; partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to bring attention to mental illness among diverse populations; providing and packing backpacks for schools to give to children in need of assistance for week-end sustenance; continuing our volunteer efforts at the Lantern, a long-term care facility that provides services for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, hosting our annual fashion show whose proceeds provide scholarships to eligible students and sprucing up the Dolly Graham playground located in South Frankfort.
